An airport-owned operational record layer for 4,500+ untowered U.S. airports.

Place it at the airport. Towerless passively listens to configured public radio channels, matches supported aircraft data where available, and builds a searchable operational timeline.
Why now: consumer-grade SDR hardware and on-device transcription have only recently made this possible without new airport infrastructure.
Configured public, unencrypted radio calls. No transmission. No interference.
Radio calls matched to aircraft identity and position where supported. Confidence-scored.
Timestamped, searchable, exportable operational timeline. The record that did not exist before.

A recorder stores audio.
Towerless creates a timeline airports can search, review, and export.
Towerless has been demonstrated on public aviation radio traffic, including a receive-only setup at the April 25 Woodward Field airshow, and is being refined through founder-operated SDR/radio testing. KCDN Woodward Field is the planned first 24/7 proving site, pending county approval.

FAA Private Pilot, Honorary Commissioner, Kershaw County Airport Commission, 2023–2024, appointed at 16. Led an Eagle Scout airport-awareness project at Woodward Field — the same airport that is now Towerless's first proving site. Built Towerless after seeing that critical airport radio activity had no durable, airport-owned record.
